Categories, venues and participant welfare
Teams work on low-gravity categories, community recreation, games, integrity, expedition access and sport science. An event record identifies the venue's scope, equipment, participant needs, gravity-class rules and welfare duties. Public programmes include people who do not compete professionally.
The powers we hold and the powers we refer
The Commission's sporting recognition is separate from Health & Biomedical Commission clinical competence, Transport & Navigation Commission transport licensing and protected-site access. Rules cannot create a birthplace or body category that excludes ordinary civic participation. Participants have an accessible route to challenge unfair treatment.
A case in practice
Illustrative case / SPT
A habitat proposes an interworld tournament. The organisers publish the competition categories and equipment rules before registration, agree receiving care and travel duties, and provide accessible participation. A venue certification is not treated as permission for an unrelated expedition or research study.
