Who we are and whom we serve
The Solar System Union is a democratic federation of human communities joined by portable rights, common public services and accountable institutions. Membership attaches to chartered public communities, including constructed habitats and small-body settlements, rather than an imperial claim over celestial territory. The Union is designed to let a person move between homes without surrendering civic standing, essential-service access or an independent route to challenge public power.

What our teams do
Common legislation and appropriations pass through the Assembly of Citizens and Council of Worlds and Habitats. The Executive implements them through specialist institutions. Courts, elections, audit, data rights, planetary protection and other independently chartered bodies retain their own reporting lines. Regional and local governments hold ordinary civic powers; the Union must explain why a common action is necessary and which decisions remain local.
Our decision powers and limits
The common market covers movement, trade, services and settlement under enforceable safeguards. Essential air, water, basic power and assistance cannot be used as private debt enforcement. Scientific protection and future-generation scrutiny precede irreversible interventions. A usable public system names the receiving office, evidence needed, competent decision-maker and review route rather than treating the resident as a messenger between institutions.
